Hello, 2025! I don't know about you, but this time of year I get introspective about the year that has passed, and goal oriented and forward thinking about the year to come. I'm a goal focused person by nature, and sometimes I don't do myself the service of looking back at the things I've accomplished or experienced. It's a fun exercise to go back through photos of the past year and remember what has happened!

2024 started for me on a beach in Baja, Mexico! What a fun trip - I think we will plan a repeat of this.

This year was my first year in a while where I worked full time at a regular day job for the full year in addition to running this business. It's been an adjustment to have less time to work on my artistic pursuits, and spend less time in the outdoors than I would like to! I'm still figuring out how to balance life vs. day job vs. business.... if you have any tidbits of wisdom, send them my way!

But, I still managed to travel a bit domestically - in 2024, I went to Phoenix for a wedding, Durango, coastal Massachusetts, Chicago for a work trip, and Texas for the total solar eclipse!

As usual, hiking and spending time outside in the mountains and the deserts dominates my photo roll. Here are a few snaps of my outdoor adventures this past year.

This spring, I launched a fabric collection with my local quilt shop, Hip Stitch! This was so fun, and I hope to do a new collection this year. It's available to purchase online from their shop, here's the link.

I continued to have so much fun designing and curating my monthly stationery kits! I've enjoyed having this predictable project each month, and I would love to grow the number of subscribers who get kits in 2025. The monthly kits are honestly one of the greatest joys of my business. I have been sending kits for over 2.5 years now, and I only dream of expanding this in the future.

Speaking of stationery kits, that's where I've been able to explore and play with my love of block printing. I often carve a special block and hand print cards for my subscribers - here are some from this past year. I plan to continue exploring this fun medium!

I get a lot of inspiration from my backyard perennial flower garden. I love watching it evolve throughout the season. The little structure in the background of the top left photo is my home studio, and WOW am I lucky to have a few of the garden through my window.

Some new products launched in 2024, including bandanas, tote bags, and zipper pouches! Here's a round up of my best sellers of 2024.

I've been really working on growing the wholesale side of my business this past year, and I'm so proud to say that my products were on the shelves of about 120 independent retail shops this year! I hope to grow this in 2025.

Finally, the year ended with a few in person shopping events. It's so fun to connect with people in person! This year was a shift from previous years because I did much fewer in person events and markets. 2024 was the first full year with a full time day job that often takes me out of town during the week - I decided to give myself some grace and choose to NOT do all the things this year. I was so thankful to have my weekends with no markets, and when holiday market season came around I was ready and excited to be there. A win!

Of course, there were the day to day moments of just living life in between. Of course my sweet cattle dogs Piper and Mango heavily dominate my photo roll!

As 2025 starts, I am full of daydreams about art, about this business, and about what I want my life to look like as a business owner, artist, outdoor adventurer, and full time nine to five-er. I'm optimistic about the opportunities that will come my way in 2025!
