[This is an excerpt from my my newsletter included in my monthly stationery kits, which I send to subscribers to support their card and letter writing endeavours! Learn about the monthly kits here.]
As we enter into this summer season, it can feel like a rush to do alll of the summertime activities before the seasons change or before school starts up again. I'm reminding myself to slow down & enjoy the best parts of summer.
I took a peak at a few recent things I've written in these little newsletters, and there's a common theme! The seasons are changing, time is passing, time is precious and hold tight to the people and activities that fill you up.
It's a great time to make a jar of sun tea (do you call it this, too? a few teabags in a glass jar on the patio in the sun?) and sit down and write a note or two to people you care about.
Honestly, this little newsletter kind of feels like that for me - like I'm writing a note to a friend or a kindred spirit.
This month's gift is a hand stamped notebook! I carved this stamp a few months back sitting in front of a cozy woodstove, and this month I revisited it - stamping notebooks & drinking iced tea in my studio.
Happy summer!
