As a creative person, I know how it can feel to have so many ideas that it feels impossible and overwhelming to know how to make decisions that will get you moving forward.
It can be paralyzing to feel stuck because there are too many options. This morning, I was on a run by the river near my house. I've been out of this habit for far too long, but I've recently been prioritizing getting out of the house to walk/run on my own -- it's my cherished thinking time, since nothing else is competing for my attention.
I was thinking this morning about my own creative process and how it's changed over time. I've been cooking up some new product lines for you recently, which has been inspiring and overwhelm-inducing. I finally feel like I've been able to move forward with my new ideas because of a tool I learned while I was in school studying interior design.
So -- I made this video to share my #1 tip for reducing creative overwhelm with you! This originally was a live video shared on my Instagram page. Instagram is where I most love to connect with you.
At the end of the video, I'll share a draft of my most recent artwork and show you how I plan to use it!! I'd love to know what you think.

In this video, I mention the Heirloom Collection, and also wool felt. These glasses cases and these mini pouches are all made of wool!
